How to Use Candles at Christmas
Decorating our homes for the holidays can be fun and entertaining. It can also be used as a time for the family to bond and to spend more time together. More often than not, it is Mom who conceptualizes and creates the designs for the Christmas decorations, but the whole family can join in with the brainstorming ideas, too.
There are a lot of ways by which we can beautify our homes and make the Christmas season appear a really festive and joyous occasion. One of these ways is to use accents. Accents may be added to a Christmas candle centerpiece as a decoration to give the candles a more cheery feel. The common choices for these include:
- jingle bells
- poinsettias
- ribbons in festive colors
- cranberries
- sleighs
- holly leaves and berries
Once you have decorated the Christmas candle centerpiece, you are now ready to display it in a place where it can attract attention and please the guests with its aesthetic appearance. Where you put the Christmas candle centerpiece actually depends on its style and of course, its size. More commonly though, it is used as a decoration on the following:
- dining table
- living room table
- mantle
- bookshelf
- an empty fireplace
There are many things that you can do with a Christmas candle centerpiece. You can play with it and experiment on it through colors and sizes and designs. The important thing is to have an inspiration to create the festive, homey ambiance that you want your home to adapt to for the holidays.
