Personality Types of Entrepreneurs

All successful entrepreneurs have their own personality types. Some of these young entrepreneurs think much like the legendary icons that we know today. You’re either a Bill Gates or maybe an Anita Roddick. Both personalities have their own unique idiosyncrasies and it would benefit you if you actually knew what type you are classified in so that you’ll better understand how your business thinking operates.

The business personality type of a person is simply the combination of traits as well as the characteristics that blend for the needs of the business. If you are able to better understand your business personality, then it will also follow that you will be able to give your company the best of what you have. Consider it entrepreneur training for the ignorant.

This article will take you to the various key types of personalities and they will help you enjoy your business more and provide you with the insight of why you make the decisions that you make. After reading through the different personalities, simply see if there are any dominant personality types that you find familiar in yourself.

The Improver: This is a personality that focuses on using your company to improve the world. It simply centers on goodwill and a noble cause. The downside to this is that the improver might become too highly critical of himself, the company and the employees.

The Advisor: This personality provides assistance and advice to customers. “The customer is always right”, they believe. One of the bad things that could come out of this is the fact that the advisor might simply totally focus on the customer instead and just ignore the needs of the other people in the organization or worse, the organization itself.

The Artist: This particular business personality is for the highly creative type. Often found in the realms of advertising, web design and ad agencies, these are the types which build around the skills and creativity that they have as an organization. This could however backfire if the feedback from customers is taken personally by the entrepreneur.

The Superstar: This is a personality that exudes charisma and the high energy of the CEO. The person here is all about getting the entrepreneur of the year award. One of the things that can prove to be negative for this is that it could turn into negative competition and becoming a workaholic.

These are the various personality types and it would benefit you if you were able to isolate your personality as an entrepreneur. You would understand yourself more and thus provide more relevant contributions as a leader of the company.
