Jennifer Lopez was born on July 24, 1970. Her parents came to New York from Ponce, Puerto Rico. Jennifer Lopez is the middle of three sisters. She is also popular by the name of J.Lo. She is an actress, singer, songwriter, record producer, dancer, fashion designer, and television producer.
According to Forbes, she is the richest person of Latin American descent in Hollywood. She has three multi-million-selling albums and counting: several major blockbusters: Hollywood pay packets breaking the $12 million mark, and a Golden Globe nomination. she has his own clothing line, cosmetics and fragrances.
Early Years
Jennifer Lopez's love was dancing, although her mother didn't want Jennifer to pursue dance as a career. Jennifer took that as her cue to break out on her own. She lived on her own and took up her dance classes. She auditioned for a year and a half with no success but was saved when she was sent to Japan. Prior to that, she was rejected after auditioning to become a Flying Girl for the show "In Living Color."
Jennifer then received a call from ''In Living Color'' and asked her to audition again. She made the cut this time. She didn't really enjoy her time on ''In Living Color'', as she longed for an acting career that would put her in the spotlight.

Lopez appeared on the short-lived television programs South Central, Second Chances, and Hotel Malibu, and the made-for-television film Nurses on the Line: The Crash of Flight 7. In 1995 she jumped onto the big screen in her first major role, opposite Wesley Snipes and Woody Harrelson in ''Money Train.'' She would go on to work opposite such talents as Robin Williams and Jack Nicholson, but it was her work with Gregory Nava, who directed her in ''My Family, Mi Familia'' that would lead her to the role that would make her a star.
Lopez was chosen to play Selena, in the official biopic of the life of the fallen Tejano star. She was nominated for the Golden Globe Award for "Best Actress - Motion Picture Musical or Comedy" in 1998.
Some of her other critically-acclaimed films include Out of Sight, The Cell, An Unfinished Life, and Shall We Dance?. Two independent films produced by Lopez were well-received at film festivals: El Cantante at the Toronto International Film Festival, and Bordertown at the Brussels film festival.

On the 6 is Jennifer Lopez's debut album, which featured the number one singles, "If You Had My Love" and "Waiting for Tonight." Her second album, J. Lo debuted at number one on the Billboard 200, carrying the single, "Love Don't Cost A Thing." Her third album, This Is Me ... Then, reached number two on the Billboard 200. It has the singles "Jenny From the Block" and "All I Have" which features LL Cool J. Her other two albums are Rebirth and her full Spanish album, Como Ama Una Mujer.
Relationships
Jennifer Lopez is popular for her relationships. Her first marriage is to Cuban born Ojani Noa in 1997 but divorced in 1998. Lopez then has a two-and-a-half-year relationship with Sean Combs (Puff Daddy). Her second marriage was to her former back-up dancer, Cris Judd. They married on September 2001 but divorced in January 2003.
Her relationship with Ben Affleck is probably the most publicized, with Lopez announcing her engagement to Affleck in November 2002. However, they split on January 20, 2004. Shortly after her break-up with Affleck, Lopez was seen out with singer Marc Anthony. They married in a quiet home wedding on June 5, 2004, a ceremony which is very private and unpublicized.
