Background
Christopher Ashton Kutcher is an American actor, show host, television creator and producer. He was born in Cedar Woods, Iowa on February 7, 1978, as twins with Michael Kutcher. Both parents worked as factory workers at that time. The couple divorced in 1991, which left the Kutcher twins and their older sister Tausha to live under the care of their mother.
In the middle of attending school at Cedar Rapids Washington High School in 1996, his mother remarried and the family moved to Homestead, Iowa. He finished his studies at Clear Creek Amana High School.
Early Years

As fate would have it, Kutcher wasn't able to complete his degree, as he was directed to the modeling path.
A talent scout suggested that he join the 1997 Fresh Faces of Iowa Competition, which he eventually won and got himself a trip to New York City to enter the International Model and Talent Agency (IMTA) Convention.
Kutcher was noticed and received callbacks from various modeling and talent agencies. He then landed a deal with Next Agency and with this, the young model decided to stay in New York. It was during this time that he decided to identify himself with his middle name, as there was another model named Christopher in the same company.
