Brian Michael BendisComic book writer Brian Michael Bendis was born on August 18, 1967. He became a comic book artist first before venturing out to writing for comic books. Some of the characters and comics that he has created were Jinx, Powers, AKA Goldfish and Torso. These are independent of the work that has already done for Marvel comics.

Brian Michael Bendis has become one of the most renowned comic book writers of all time as he has been awarded 5 Eisner Awards for his work as a writer as well as an artist in the comic book industry.

He has become one of the biggest names in the comic book industry as he has worked on so many titles especially in the Marvel industry. He has been referred to as a workhorse in the business of comic book writing because he is known to work at several comic book titles all at the same time.

Brian was able to break into the comic book scene with the crime noir comic book "Jinx  as well as "AKA Goldfish" and "Torso. After his work with the comic book "Powers", people started taking note of Brian and how he masterfully weaved a tale in these comic book titles.

His work on the "Powers" comic book gave him enough attention for Marvel comics to give him a job where he was able to launch the "Ultimate" line of comics which were targeted at younger audiences. The Ultimate storyline eventually extended to different titles such as the Avengers, X-Men and the Fantastic Four.

Bendis eventually won two Eisner Awards for his work with Alex Maleev in the title "Daredevil". Ever since that, Bendis began to form the continuity of the comic book worlds by producing stories that interact in the Marvel universe rather than separate storylines.

Brian has also helped Marvel Comics launch two other imprints, the MAX line which has a much more mature content and the Icon line where his series "Powers" now resides. Bendis still continues to rewrite comic book continuity with his work on "New Avengers" and recently "Spider-Woman".

Brian Michael Bendis is one of the best writers in comic books history and he might just well be the most prolific comic book writer in the industry today. The different titles that he churns out month in and month out, will be a very good legacy that will withstand the test of time as well as his critics.
