Bluewater Productions is a publisher of comic books that started in 2001 at Image Comics. They were able to publish titles like "Dollz" and 10th Muse". They were able to launch the Legend of Isis and Black Tide.

There were some books that were launched which jumped to the top 30. When the publishers headed by Darren G. Davis left Image in order to go to Alias Enterprises, they were able to work on a couple of kids books which was accomplished through another publisher. After their stint with Alias, the publishers decided to launch their own publishing company.

The publishing company of Bluewater Productions is located in Northwest Washington and was founded by the creator Darren G. Davis. It was pioneered with 10th Muse which was his foremost creation for the the company.

The comic was officially published through Image but because of several differences and conflict in opinion, they hopped from one company to another. As mentioned earlier, Davis took matters into their own hands when they decided to publish their own line of comics.

After that, Bluewater Productions was able to expand their line to include several other titles such as VSS Nemesis Rising, Isis as well as Judo Girl. Their latest endeavors has gained several publicity appearances.

They have a line of comics which is entitled "Ray Harryhausen Presents" which is essentially patterned on the classic movies of film legend Ray Harryhausen. These include such titles as Wrath of the Titans, 20 Million Miles More and other comics.

However, no other comic title of the company could be more famous than that of 10th Muse. In 2001, when the comic was launched, it became the 6th highest comic for the month of November when it was released. This particular occasion is quite rare for an independent comic.

Bluewater Productions is still a small and privately owned company to date. It is still quite meager and cannot be publicly owned as of yet however, the current state the publishing company is in good shape to become a publicly-owned company in the future. They should simply concentrate on keeping their storylines interesting and their characters engaging and unique.

The future looks bright for Bluewater Productions as it has already started quite well when it first launched their pioneer comic book title. Whatever it is that they were able to do back then, they should keep using that formula so they'll  be able to come up with excellent work that will always be at par with the best of the industry.
